The Treble Makers are a group of Violin and Viola Students that go to different Retirement Homes in the Valley and Perform twice a year, once during the Holiday Season, and again in the Summer.  We also welcome other instrumentalists to come with us. The tour will consist of performances at Three (3) different Retirement homes as well as a Pizza party immediately following.  This is a “win – win” for both the students and the Retirement Home residents.  The students get a fun performance experience, and the Residents get to be entertained and can sing along if they want.

Holiday Retirement Tour:  If you are a student, you should receive your music (mostly traditional holiday music) approximately 1 month before the tour.  We will have a rehearsal within 1 week before the tour.  The tour will consist of performances at three (3) different Retirement homes as well as a Pizza party immediately following.

Summer Retirement Tour:  If you are a student, you will receive your music approximately 1 month before the Tour.  We will be performing Show Tunes from different Broadway shows.  We will have a movie day for the students to view the pieces that will be performed and give a brief synopsis of the stories involved so the students will have a better idea of how that piece fits into the story.  We will then have a rehearsal to go over the music, (within 1 week before the tour) and then the Summer Retirement Tour which will also consist of visiting Three (3) different Retirement Homes and a Pizza party afterward.

There is a charge of $25.00 to participate as a performer, which includes the Retirement Tour Binder, a T-shirt, and the Pizza Party.

If you are interested in participating in these Retirement Tours, you must contact me at least 30 days prior to the event which will be listed in the Schedule of Events Section of my web site.  Typically the Holiday Retirement Tour will be held over winter break from school, and the Summer Retirement Tour is held in June each year.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding these tours.
